From The Practice Tee To The Bag With Staffer Bryan Welsh

Oregon serious player and Player Staff Member, Bryan Welsh, recently worked on his game via playerstaff.com and ordered a custom wedge set to compliment his style and local playing conditions.

One of Head Instructor RC's big keys is to watch how players lean the shaft at address compared to how they lean the shaft at impact.  Major angle changes usually reveal major short game inconsistencies.  Coupled with a little technique change, the new wedges will allow Bryan to hit the short game shots he needs.

RC reports that "We focused on adding a little more bounce to his new wedges because Oregon tends to feature soft conditions.  The big key is the 58.08.  It's probably my favorite wedge for players when we bend it one or two degrees weak.  The unique tour inspired sole makes it very playable for sliders and has plenty of bounce.   There aren't too many wedges that can handle that responsibility."
